Reflection on The Book Thief

On pages 428 and 429 Liesel wakes up in the middle of the night and hears a noise int the living room. At first she thinks its intruders. Once she walks into the living room she sees mama sitting there with papas accordion. My reaction was woah she really cares about Hans. She really misses him.She actually has a heart.

The Book Thief Poem

   Survivors remain decaying
desperately abandoned
Mother, girl, and boy survived misfortune?
the beautiful chocolate sky
covered in ash
immense healing and foreign fate
will the book thief survive?
